Terms of Service
Last updated October 20, 2026
These terms apply to your use of Ado, a money assistant operated by Whelp ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to them.
What Ado does
Ado reads the bank data you connect through Plaid, messages you on WhatsApp or by text when something may need a decision, and answers questions about your accounts. Access is read-only: Ado cannot move money, pay bills, cancel subscriptions or change anything at your bank.
Not financial advice
Ado gives information about your own accounts, not financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Information comes from your bank through Plaid and may be delayed, incomplete or wrong; check important details with your bank before acting.
Eligibility and your account
You must be 18 or older and use a mobile number you control. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your phone secure.
Text messaging terms (SMS program)
- Program: Ado money alerts about your bills, balances and subscriptions, plus replies to your messages.
- You opt in by choosing text messages during sign-up or in Settings and agreeing to the consent text. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to opt out at any time; we will confirm and stop texting you. Reply START to opt back in.
- Reply HELP for help, or email support@whelp.co.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Your mobile information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy and is never shared for marketing purposes.
If you choose WhatsApp, messages are delivered through WhatsApp and WhatsApp's own terms also apply. Reply STOP to stop messages.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse Ado: no connecting accounts you are not authorized to access, no attempts to break or overload the service, and no unlawful use.
Ending your use
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the service or other users at risk.
Disclaimers and liability
Ado is provided "as is" without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including missed payments or fees, arising from your use of Ado or from information that is delayed or inaccurate.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will update the date on this page and tell you by message about significant changes. Continuing to use Ado means you accept the updated terms.
